Our mission is to provide flexible, competitive technology resource solutions that are tailored to the needs of the client and the candidate. Our aim is to be the primary supplier with all clients that engage with us to fulfil their technology staffing needs. All of our placements come with the highest levels of insurance and carry guarantees, assuring you that we are about quality before quantity. HistoryFounded in 1997 by experienced IT and Telecommunications recruiters, and backed by recruitment veterans, Contract Connections sought to redefine the service levels provided by the recruitment industry. With each of the founders having many years experience of providing global resourcing solutions, and having conducted extensive market research into what clients and candidates sought from a staffing partner, they understood that there were better solutions to be offered than the market had endured. Contract Connections focussed on quality over quantity and streamlined the resource solutions on offer to three models, Contingency Recruitment, Project Team Provision and Managed Services. Having established a solid central London base, satellite offices were established to cater for specific pieces of work engaged by clients and fully tax liable Irish and Dutch registered businesses were established to cater for clients in the Eurozone. In 2007, following unprecedented growth in the legal services area, Contract Connections launched a specialist Professional Services Practice, CCL Recruit, focussing on providing permanent staffing solutions to this demanding industry sector. In 2008 a permanent base was established in Birmingham to provide a local solution to the ever growing client base within the Midlands area. Our plans for expansion continue with a partnership in the USA and global Project Team and Managed Service solutions taking our consultants to every corner of the globe; however, we remain firmly grounded and will not lose the attention to detail and quality of relationship that has got us to where we are today. Since 1999 Contract Connections has provided Managed Service solutions to clients seeking standardisation, fixed price services and guaranteed attendance. Following substantial growth in this sector, including the delivery of global solutions and a Vendor Neutral service, we launched Helix Managed Services (HMS) late in 2009. This genuine emphasis on partnership has resulted in year on year new business growth coupled with long term client and candidate retention. Meet the management teamJustin Madgwick – Managing DirectorIn the recruitment business since 1990 having started as a contract recruiter at Computer Team Group and progressing to Regional Manager before establishing Contract Connections at 27. A hands-on MD who develops new opportunities for the business and oversees not only the operational aspects, but also the Managed Service and Project Team provisions. Louis Lafferty – Sales DirectorLouis joined Contract Connections in 2000 having already been in the industry for four years. He progressed from Sales Consultant to Team Leader and then Sales Manager before his Board appointment in 2008. Very much a hands-on Sales Director who remains involved with key clients as well as developing the sales team and working with Justin on the development of new areas for the business to explore. David Houlihan – Executive DirectorDavid has been in the IT Recruitment business since the mid-80's. He has been consultant, team leader, manager, director, founder and partner in several businesses both in the UK and on foreign shores. David backed Contract Connections from launch and remains an active member of the board. Ray Jenner – Executive ChairmanRay is an early pioneer of contract recruitment, having been one of the founders of the industry back in the early 70's. Having built and sold agencies as well as being among the first to float an agency on the stock market, Ray brings invaluable high-level expertise to the board. Jon White – Practice Manager – CCL RecruitHaving 10 years recruitment experience under his belt, Jon joined Contract Connections in 2007 with the principle task of developing newly formed CCL Recruit, our permanent recruitment offering to the Professional Services sector. Jon is a hands-on recruiter as well as Manager and has an enviable amount of knowledge within this sector. One of the top 30 "must know" people in the IT Legal sector according to The KnowList.
